I had been looking at this guy for such a long time. But finally couldn't resist. And honestly. When you see them in person. They look much better than the pictures. The vehicles might be a bit pricy for me. But I am sold on the figures.misc 004 (478x640).jpg

Don't know how the image will look. But it is a fabulous figure. I am hooked! Brad

Congratulations on your purchase, they never have failed to impress me. I will warn you though that they can be addictive. They should come with labels.

Congratulations on your purchase...very addictive indeed...First Legion WWII Stalingrad is really well done....nothing else even comes close in detail and paint..........The german combat assault team is also excellent........FIRST LEGION RULES.

Welcome to the wonderful world of First Legion my friend! I don't collect the WWII line (at least not yet ) but their American Civil War figures are like not other on the market. Hope to see more posts of your future additions!

Fully agree there. I have more than 40 ACW figures and they're all wonderful as are all their ranges.

Welcome to the world of First Legion. The detail on these guys is pretty amazing. I collect the Civil War figures along with some of the Stalingrad figures. The German sniper behind the brick wall is one awesome vignette.

I do agree with you guys regarding the Civil War. Saw them too and they look incredible when you seen the up close. Pictures just don't do justice. Very happy and excited to buy some more!

Yep, definitely First Legion Rules as Vezzolf says, Nobody can beat First Legion, On How great their products are. And I have not gotten The german sniper behind the wall yet. But, One day I will!!. The Napoleonics is, getting all my attention right now.

I think the thing that impresses me about the series (Stalingrad and Civil War) is the fluid poses are realistic. I hope they put out Pennsylvania Bucktails sometime. They could do it since they are focusng on the first day. Although it wouldn't be the 13th PA Reserves (the Original Bucktails)

Glad to have another member of the First Legion fan club!:) I noticed you couldn't wait to get home to open the figure, since you took the picture in your car! I know the feeling, as do many of the other collectors here....

Here's one of the photos I used in a little scene I made last year using their 13th Alabama Civil War figures.

Whilst I'm not a fan of the FTL Stalingrad range, I do really like their Romans and Renaissance range!

Thanks Chris and Xavier! My goal is to collect on a slow and steady pace.

ah that feeling of having to get your figure as soon as possible

last week, as the clock was showing 8:45pm i was chatting with my wife about the day she had, etc.
when suddenly she told me that i had a notice left by the post office guy saying that a package from russia has arrived (containing one precious figure bought on ebay).
since the post office is 4 miles away and it was -20oC outside, i ran, took my jacket and my boots without any socks, entered my car and drove to the post office.... i was there at 5 minutes before 9pM just as the guy was closing the door...
and my box was there !!

i love figures :)
