I saw them them last night - OMG

!
Had a great trip to Bolivia - The Country is beautiful and yet very old at the same time. I was taken back on how modern the La Paz was though. Lots of commercial activity and old world ways all mixed together.
Looks like I will be going back several times now - since I signed our client to a two year contract. My next trip is planned for June.
I spent all my time in La Paz and it took a day and a half to get use to the air - very thin up there - the main city sits at 12,600 feet - I went to a few places that were 13,500 feet overlooking the city. Really beautiful at night - you feel that you are at the top of the world. The moon is bigger and brighter and the stars light up the entire Mountain range at night.
We had great weather - one day of rain for a few hours is all. Very poor Country overall with about 20 - 30 % wealthy - upper middle class.
I had the chance to meet most of the Cabinet Ministers in President Morales Government. I sat in the VIP Section with them during the MAY DAY celebration - the only American! - it was really a blast. I am sure I have a new CIA FILE on me now
Great food and drink can be found in Bolivia. Super cheap too! Cuban Cigars are $5 USD each and Wine is wonderful and very cheap as well. Food, Hotel, etc.... cost half - compared to the US in travel prices.
Great time was had by all.
