I have to Pass on WW1! (1 Viewer)

Shame that one didn't sprout wings and fly away with the Kaiser in it,would have saved one hell of a war!

Ah Yes - English Humor..............

Anyway, Any good business will deversifie themselves to expand to all potential interests and markets. Andy, is doing that.

King and Country has created a solid brand name for themselves - it is now the watermark for all others. Back to the situation of the only way you can get attention about another company's product is that you have to discuss it on the King and Country thread - Its really sad. But, K&C is the NUMBER ONE THREAD FOR A REASON.

You know we all are probally going to have to take a pass on a few ranges - because it is too costly to buy them all. For me SOHK, AE and LAH are not of interest for me. So, sure John you probally will have to pass on WWI if its not your cup of tea (British reference to appease those on the other side of the pond) - but, thats OK.

You know - WE ARE OK - YOU ARE OK and WE ALL ARE OK - WITH King and Country. :D

Ron you are of course correct and all power to you.But don't you think its sad and a little annoying when someone comes on here pretending to be speaking on behalf of all of us and slags off Andys efforts?.

I am not so sure that John was trying to speak for all of us - it could have been a figure of speech - you know early on in my forum experience I got into a little trouble that myself - so I am willing to take his comments as his opinion of the situation of over production.

On the point of K&C or Andy - not listening - well thats just POPPYCOCK! :D

Fair point, like to give John the benefit as he does have some great ideas for vehicles.

Rob

LOL! Dick Van Kaiser,i like that.

To be fair to the Kaiser he probably did a better cockney accent than Dick
did!

Any idea exactly what model the car is? I know its a "staff car" but would be interested in knowing the exact model. The dispatch is sometimes a bit vague on detail.

I'll buy WW1. It'll make up for the DAK stuff I'm not buying anymore since I missed out on Rommel

My guess is a Mercedes Benz 1914.

I agree with you,i've tried to see a way to afford it but i just can't.I was interested in the ACW stuff but theres no way.I really like the WW1 line and will get what i can. However we still have the Crimean and Brit paras to come yet and i'm keeping my powder dry for those.

Rob

I am more of a vehicle guy, so I will probably get the staff car ( which I hope matches up to my LAH leader car. Will these be a true 1/30 or 1/32 kind of.? Michael

Hi Rob.

Space and money dicates that I am going for some of the French Cuirassiers when they come out, shame as I like the ACW range.

Regards

Jeff

Hey Jeff

How's you?And theres my other problem,Napoleonics.I love the look of the forthcoming french cavalry, they look like classic waterloo figures to me.And i have this idea that later when the new British inf come out i'm going to want a square with the french cav attacking.I have some big decisions to make in the forthcoming months but it is hard.Still i'm really not complaining, better to have loads of choice than not much.2007 is i think going to be a great one for K&C,can only imagine how much bigger my collection will be at the end of the year!.

Rob

I'm fine thanks. Space is a big problem with so much available now, but I must admit I keep looking at the WW1 figures.... up close there is a fair amount of detail on these little fellows.....they are really really nice.
Are they going to be at the London show at the end of the month?

Jeff

I got a feeling it might be a bit soon for London, shame. But the Crimean stuff should be on show, on some dio's Tony has been making.Come to think of it the show will soon be upon us.K&C have their own room this time!

Rob

Rob.

Sorry...your right early April. You wouldn't be able to get them home anyway! what with the list you have already.
