But a very Merry Christmas to all my friends and fellow collectors on this highly enjoyable forum we frequent. Whether you collect what I collect or something totally different , whether your historical bent is the Trenches of Northern France , dusty battles of Spartacus or the steaming jungles of Burma , I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic new year{bravo}}. In recent weeks I've been inundated with pm messages from various members telling me how much I'm hated in another place and by Frank and Gebhard from this forum, well for me life is too short to hate people because they are different from me, so I wish peace, love and TS's of the description you collect to all in this great hobby of ours. Not only do I look forward to sharing another year of collecting with you but I am very much looking forward to the June symposium and finally meeting people who started off being fellow forum members and have become real friends over the years to me, people like Louis, Howard, George, Konrad, Tom, Jack, Waynepoo , among others as well of course as my UK and Dutch friends .

2013 is going to be a very good one:smile2:

I would like to say Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all Forum member's...I have been on this board for nearly a year & have found it enjoyable to read & be part of the many discussions...A very diverse & intelligent group of members have made this a pleasant experience...Again best wishes to all & enjoy the holidays !
We shall see what the new year brings us...I am already looking forward to the new Afrika Korps equipment soon to be released...

Well spoken wise words Rob...Life is indeed far too short to worry about the people who do not like us, whatever thier misguided reasoning may be. But enough of this negative stuff,
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends and contacts on the forum a very happy Christmas and a New year filled with only happiness....And a special mention
to all from the rouges gallery that collect every saturday lunch time corresponding to the London Toy Soldier Show......no names mentioned, but you all know who you are!!..............

Rob, many years ago there was a bumper sticker doing the rounds that read 'DON'T LET THE TURKEYS GET YOU DOWN' ....kinda sums it up I think. :smile2:

How sad that a toy soldier forum brings out words like Hate but, there lies the rub I suppose one makes their own bed then you have to lie (correct spelling) in them . Merry Christmas to you all.

All the backstabbing and PM nonsense kind of reminds me of the Blackadder Christmas wishes followed by the funniest quote said so eloquently by him: ''may the yuletide log of your Christmas fire roll out and burn your houses down''!!LOL

I also wanted to say that on reading your posts I may have given the impression that I am upset about the fact that I've been hearing all this stuff about me in pm's, I didn't mean that at all, I meant I even wish those guys a happy Christmas, life is too short to hold grudges so the best to those guys and their families too!:smile2:

Hi Rob,

What a great post from a great guy! It was fantastic meeting you and all the other guys and gals at the Show and I hope to see you all again before I head back to the states. I really enjoyed the the discussion of the hobby and its members. I hope you all enjoyed it as well. So with out further ado I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope the Santa leaves some great new sets for you!

I'm very sorry that you would believe any poison pm's from anyone that would say such rubbish:mad::mad: such things are LIES ... I can assure you I have never said Publicly or Privately anything of the sort and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas . I would also like very much if you would forward me any such lying and slanderous PM's.... I have reported such crap and its author to Mr Peter and I'd suggest you and any other receivers of such rubbish do the same It really is very sad indeed.. Merry Christmas regards Gebhard

Guys, normally I would multi quote posts in saying thank you for posting, but there are so many very nice posts that I decided to tick the ' like ' boxes instead to save you having to read them all again, but thank you very much indeed I really do appreciate all your posts. :smile2:

Gebhard, it does not matter what has or has not been said elsewhere because its of no importance to me, I send you only very best wishes for you and your family for Christmas and 2012. While I'm at it there are folk I've not always seen eye to eye with on here like Oz, Mitch and Wayne maybe, but let me just wish them all the very best for the season and new year too.:smile2:

I hope all you guys discover some splendid TS's under your tree this year. My good lady doesn't normally buy me TS's at Christmas because as I buy them all year she likes to get me something else, but I do suspect I may be getting a rather wonderful smartphone so hopefully (fingers crossed^&grin) I may be able to improve my ' live ' show coverage next year!
