Barzso did Blackfoot Indians in his Lewis and Clar playset which would have been around the Mountain Man time.
I'm reading the book now (The Revenant).

They would work very well. Lewis & Clark are actually the ones to blame for the well-known hostility the Blackfoot showed to American fur trappers. Apparently, Blackfoot warriors were jealous that L&C had arranged a treaty that would provide guns to their tribal enemies, the Shoshone & Nez Perce. During the night the Blackfoot tried to steal guns from the party and Lewis and another man each killed a Blackfoot. After that, the Blackfoot were sworn enemies of American whites, while continuing to trade with British interests.
