About 10:30 p.m. last night, the phone rang, and lo and behold, it was Andy calling to chat. I can't tell you everything we spoke about, but a few things which are not secret:

1. Gordon's K&C custom diorama shop will be opening this month as scheduled, so get your orders in ASAP, because there will be a back log.

2. The dioramas depicted in the photographs on this forum, including the ruined factory and North African Dioramas, along with several other of Gordon's custom dioramas, will be on display first at the West Coaster and then at the N.Y. Symposium the following weekend (March 9-11, 2007).

3. There will be some surprises unveiled at the Symposium which no K&C fan will want to miss (I can tell you that I am incredibly excited to see 2 of the items).

4. Andy and Gordon will be at the Westcoaster, then will spend the following 5 days in San Antonio, and then will attend the N.Y. Symposium before Gordon flies back to San Antonio and Andy flies back to Hong Kong.

5. While there is no specific release date scheduled for the Feisler Storch, Andy wants it to happen as much as I do.

Thanks for sharing the info Louis. Any knowledge as to the release of the grey longcoat germans (including the motorcycle with sidecar) recently depicted in pictures Andys posted?

Go on Louis, give us a clue.
How big is the cabinet you're holding in reserve for the release. You can be fairly vague if you like, you could just say:

'it's warbird size' or
'there'll be a sprinkling of sand on the glass shelf' or
'the cabinet is quite long, say, about 30 times shorter than Arnhem Bridge'

nothing specific....

Simon

Simon,

I could tell you, but then Andy would have to kill us both. Suffice it to say that with 2 of the suprise items, I am extremely excited. Knowing me, that in and of itself should be a hint.

There may also be a suprise announcement about advertising, although Andy himself won't know until after the Westcoaster.

Mmmmm....
Death by Claymore or two months of silent guessing....

On reflection, I'll hang fire until March.

Any indication on when he may kickoff the new WWI line? I hope it starts out with several releases. BTW: there is a great show on Discovery Times tonight at 9 EST on the death of the red baron. They prove fairly conclusively that the shot that killed him came from the ground and not Roy Brown.

I've seen that show, they use the expert marksmen with the modified lasers with the delay to match the speed of the machinegun bullets to prove a ground shot was possible at the range and speed involved. It really was well done.
