Was wondering what you had in mind for those Italian coppers or what ever call them, nice one.
Wayne.

Carabinieri I think though I was inclined to call all coppers gendarmes...educational this forum; I'm expanding my vocabulary

Excellent dio, it's composed nicely and tells the story well. The Carabinieri figures are very cool, I didn't K&C had them.

Prost!

Unlike Elvis, it never left the building - but the photoshoot was fun. I'll buy you a beer at the dinner.{sm4}

Nice, original combination of the K&C bombed building and the carabinieri and above all, excellent photographs!!!!!

Done! and im assuming you mean the real Elvis and not the bloke notorious for wearing his shirts! If you mean the latter then i have no doubt he would never leave the building, which is of course Brett's Shop! ^&grin

Santa's Workshop was very busy this morning - I had to leave!

Thanks for the encouragement,
I thought I should mention the camera since its use is part of my works in progress; it's a pocket Olympus and I use the IB program that came with it. I make sure there is enough light but not direct sunlight (don't use flash as it creates shadows); take the photo at medium to close distance; then edit on the program - crop it, and increase colour intensity and contrast. My earlier attempts used the change focus on the camera and the blur edit but this did not make a clear picture. So I leave the focus on auto when taking the picture and rely on crop editing to remove all peripheral extras. The lens and pixel quality is well up to this task and the later attempts seem to give a good strike rate. A much simplified process since the days of my SLR and multitude of lenses and different films. And the subjects? Well the manufacturers do a great job and all I do is arrange them how it pleases my eye. It's all great fun.{sm4}
