I,m saying this tongue and cheek, but it occurred to me why K&C are producing so many sets this year, one after another. It is a plan to drive other companies out of business.
Everyone knows how you get hooked on K&C and just have to have everything put out. Well simply put the number of sets this year completly drains the toy soldier budget thus leaving no money to buy other companies products. Walla, the other companies go belly up and K&C is the last one standing.
Pretty brilliant marketing.
But I love it! Keep em coming Andy!!

I think the budget is drained on this end, Gary. My theory is that there's been an upsurge in interest in K & C (nothing new there) and that Andy's is trying, like any good businessman, to strike "while the iron is hot." The public is amazingly fickle and who knows how long the interest will stay at the white knuckle grip that it's at now. Also, while the interest is great, people are trying to buy retired items. However, there only so many around so those dollars or euros need to go somewhere so what better way to fill the need than to make more sets to capture that money. Of course, that theory goes out the window if the number of sets Andy is putting out this year is the same as last year.
