All my stuff has been displayed on various threads on this forum already . . . have a look around . . . :D

Somewhere in the Ardennes January 1945.

This is an early dio I created shortly after getting into the hobby. Not terribly accurate (unit emblems etc.) but I still enjoy it.

Hi There!
Here is an image from the 'Hudson & Allen scenery clinic in the Treefrog Treasures room' thread. Some K&C Heer infantry march down a road on A Hudson & Allen scenic base. Hope to see some of you in Chicago!

Those are some nice set ups you got there. Especially you Ken.

Alex,

Those are some nice set ups... Do you have any more of the Alamo? I am really interested in putting together a small dio for that...

Thanks...

Alex,

I really like that Dio... How did you do the ground? I believe it said something about painting... Then what else did you do? I really like how it looks and would be very interested in finding out how you did that...

Thanks

I just spread some water down glue and sprinkled sand and tiny gravel here and there then let dry to paint.

Alex,

Where would i be able to see the other dios you have built? Which Threads are they under?

Thanks for the tips... do you have any other good tips that will be helpful when building a dio?

If you haven't already done so, I'd check out the diorama section of the forum, especially the 'Bored tonight...' long running thread, which has pages and pages of dios, covering all eras and from many forum members.

Cheers
Simon

Here is King & Countrys SS Headquarters Diorama and A village I put together

from King & Countrys Backlot Buildings.

More photos are in my picture albums, hope you enjoy these shots.

Here's my diorama (72" x 30") of the Seige of Acre 1191 - As you can see it's still a work in progress. Welcome to the forum.

I am currently working on a BoB diorama and I just finished some groundwork tonight, later I will post pics and some tutorials of how I did it. If you can follow my description here it goes. After I put down the plaster of paris groundwork on the scene I then smooth it out and I then drip water from my fingers onto the plaster of paris and then with my other hand I sprinkle on dry plaster of paris straight from the box. The dry plaster blends perfectly with the existing groundwork and you get wonderful texture. The results are awesome!! You get a texture that looks like small rocks and gravel. It is so easy to do and so effective. I will post pics of my diorama when I am through for all you to see. I have been so inspired by the great dios that are here and on the forums that I decided to try and make one and I am having a ball!!:D
