Iconic AFVs Not Done Recently (1 Viewer)

There are a few iconic AFVs that K&C has not made for a very long time or ever. There are a few old style Hanomags low production runs, in 1:32 scale and they are very expensive to buy.

Any other iconic AFVs that have not been done recently to today's standards or ever done?

Well the Hetzer hasn't been done for a while , I would like to see another of these in the updated standards K&C are now producing . Am also hoping someone will make a Churchill Crocodile as that hasn't been done yet.

I'm looking for a higher standard of iconic. The Hertzer wasn't done that long ago, looks like modern production and is still available on the resale market at a reasonable price. The Churchill crocodile hasn't been done, but is it iconic? I think an updated basic Churchill would be iconic - it hasn't been made in a long time and is 1:32 scale and reasonably hard to find.

Ok, just a suggestion

Rob

Are there even that many iconic AFVs that need to be done for the first time or redone.

The T-34/76 is one that needs redoing. The old one is small, crude by today's standards and rare.

M7 Priest, GMC 2.5 ton truck and German 105mm howitzer.

Its Just a thought.

In CC's abscence,

BRADLEY!

And I'll take a Challenger II and a Warrior with that order as well please. :)

All good models to have, but how many are really iconic like a Tiger or Hanomag or T-34/76 or Sherman - or are they just good models which would be nice if K&C did them. Are they just variations of recently made subjects - for example there have been several good tigers made in the last 2 - 3 years.

I was really looking for glaring omissions. The Hanomag must be at the top of the list as is a T-34/76. IMO, a Sturmtiger may just make the list. But are there any really iconic models missing from K&C collections?

How about a Matilda. There hasn't been one made for a very long time and it was in the old style and is scarce. Yet it was the main British tank in 1940 France and early in the North Afrika campaign and was a symbol of British armoured resistance to the Nazis..

Iconic V long overdue may be two different things.

To me for sure a T-34/76. Also a KV-1.

A German late war Mark IV I've been waiting on for sometime. Maybe a J version with mesh side skirts?

I think the number of iconic vehicles is small: Sherman, Tiger, T34 and maybe Panther and they're certainly not missing from K & C collections.

However, since the title of this thread is AFVs no done recently, a Matilda is right up there. Another one is the Honey, only done by Figarti. I'd throw in a Valentine but not only has it not been done lately, it's never been done.

I would like to see

M8 Motor carrage
M29 Weasel
M3 antiaircraft
Strumtiger
German antiaircraft guns.
late war or Normandy Panxer IV
M26
new airbourne armoured jeep for the Battle of the Bulge series.
Brummbar
Maultier

how about some more dead and wounded figures.

jagdpanther
sturmtiger
mobelwagon
whirbelwind
panzer iv later war
tiger 1 late war full zimmeritt
hanomag 251
off the top of my head
mitch

not a bad list mitch, i would add a brumbar, a puma for normandy and i like the mid war marder, also an opel maultier and a 7/2 aa halftrack. Other than that i can't imagine we missed much. My question is why kc has not done a normandy mark iv ?

The question is moot for a while. Desk11Desk12 (Carlos) correctly guessed the AFV would be the M7 Priest.:wink2:

Hawkeye...

Cannot understand why I left that Brumbar out?? A late war panzer IV has to be a must for K&C
