Fellows,
Give me some ideas for my next WWII -TG dio please !!! I'll pick one idea and turn it into a dio.
Battle fields to choose from: Normandy, Battle of the Bulge or the Eastern front/
I will reward the winner( he who gives me the best idea and whose idea I will turn into a dio) with a free hand painted 1/35 scale metal figure from my WWII collection.Will post some pictures of the figures to choose from in due course.
Write me the story behind the scene you want me to produce, with the names of the divisions involved, names of places where you want the scene to be set, time of the year ( very important for the vegetation I will use ), etc , etc ...... Every little detail helps to make the dio more interesting.
Looking forward receiving your ideas. The only condition is : your story has to be based on historical facts !!!!!!! I will put on the forum the pictures of the completed dio so that you can verify if you have won or not.
guy:)

Guy,
Great idea mate, nice way to get people involved and good onya for doing it, as I know your area of interest is WW2 Europe I will leave the other guys to it but if you should start doing ALH or Great War I'll be in it.......{bravo}}
Wayne.

Guy use the New Winter PAK36 (They have no stands) with the Gunn club figure (He has no stand to)
Ambushing some allied vehicle ??

Good idea Wayne , but I am not very hot for the new pak 36. Don't like the goggles on the helmets. But maybe I'll keep the general idea of a winter ambush and use some other TG stuff

Feel the same way Guy. Not a fan of goggles unless a riding figure on bike/tank etc. Also the German on his back loading the gun no doubt is accurate, but for me it restricts the figure with this pose, so I also will be passing on the pak 36 and the spotter. This helps the finances as most of the other May releases are on my list. Cheers, Robin.

Come on guys, where are all your WWII ideas . I am still waiting. Look in the QM stores of TG's website , see what he has put on the market already and make up a story( based on facts) for me to make a dio of( take into account the dios I already made , because I will not make the same dio twice.)
Tomorrow I will take some pics of the figure(s) you can win . Maybe I will double the stakes and maybe instead of 1/35 scale I'll switch to 54mm hand painted metal figures.
guy:)

Work on the same one I am doing at the moment, Pegasus bridge Dday. You will need TG's Para's for the assault on the bridge and Germans of course (no shortage there) & the follow up of TG's Commando's as the relief troops. Beat you to display. Cheers, Robin.
