Hey guys, I have been thinking about this over the past week of being unwell!

If you were given the chance, one chance, to pick any set, any set at all, which you could design yourself and see made into figures/vehicles/both, what would YOU pick?:)

If Andy said "Right _____ I want you to design me your idea of a great set which you would like to see. I want you to describe it, give Regiments, guns and dates when it would fit in with!"

It can be any era, any regiment, any side, and can be a vehicle/figures/both together! And you have the opportunity to design two add on sets (or non-related sets)aswell! So three possible sets for you to design!

For me personally, I would like to see a WW2 Operation Market Garden (of course;))Coldstream Guards or Irish Guards Sherman Firefly tank:

1.- One side of the turret of the tank would be blackened to look burned out, and have some bullet holes and dents all over it, including a hole in the side of the turret side where a piece of German artillery has hit it and blown a hole in it!:D
- There would be fire coming from the burning turret!
- There would be a British tanker (bareheaded and tanker suit ripped and head bloodied) being pulled from an open turret hatch by a fellow tanker (Beret), and standing on the back of the firefly would be another tanker (beret) providing cover with a sten gun!:D:

2.- Non related to the tank set would be a group of Polish paratroopers (again from Operation Market Garden) who are attemping to make a river crossing in little oval shaped rubber boats!:D

- The set would have two small trees with a string (or 1/30th scale rope) about 9 inches long (making the trees about 9 inches apart) which would be secured around a branch on each tree, and on one side of the 'river' Would be a Polish paratrooper officer keeping watch on his side of the river, with a sten gun at the ready over his shoulder!
- In the water would be a first rubber boat with one paratrooper pulling on the rope (string) to pull his boat to the other side of the river, another para could be kneelig down inside the rubber boat keeping watch on the river bank on the opposite side! A final paratrooper, who has been wounded from past fighting in Operation Market Garden, would be lying in the rubber boat resting against one side of the dingy!
- There would be a second boat, or maybe even a raft, which would be loaded with ammunition boxes/supplies/weapons/fuel/water cans/mortars/drop cannisters, and one standing paratrooper keeping one hand on the rope, but in a more crouched position as he catches glimpses of the following scene:
- The final boat has been seen by the Germans!
One paratrooper has been shot and has both arms in the air falling off to the far side of the rubber boat, a second paratrooper has caught the sight of a group of German soldiers and is firing his Sten gun at them while crouching into the boat keeping himself in cover! A final paratrooper has been shot and is lying slumped over the side of the rubber boat! Finally one side of the boat is modelled lower than the other side giving the impression that the boat has been shot and has burst (deflated), and the boat can be decorated with bullet holes!

This is just my personal ideas, however I have one more to put down!
I will leave it to tomorrow as I am going to bed because WWE Late Night Raw is nearly finished!:p

I am however looking forward to waking up tomorrow to other people's ideas!

Thanks everyone!:D

Make it 5 sets so it could be a dispathes release!:D
I am thinking about my third choice at the moment

3. - British M5A1 Halftrack - In markings of Welsh Guards for Operation Market Garden/D-Day!:DThere would be a driver and One British infantryman would be leaning on the gun in the turret of the halftrack, while 3 more would be sitting in the back, one smoking bareheaded, one loading rifle, and a final one on radio reporting to infantry who are in the battle which they are watching!:)

4. - British Para Jeep!:DThe jeep is upturned and two British paratroopers are taking cover behind the jeep as enemy fire rips accross the ground near them. The officer has pistol drawn, and the private has a rifle beside him on the ground. A final para lies dead off to one side of the jeep.

5. - Paras signalling RAF planes with bits of flag/cloth and waving hands in air!:)

For me, it would be the german BMW bike and sidecar with Panzer Meyer as rider and, his commander at the time Fritz Witt as passenger. Its a photo in Mike Reynolds book Steel inferno 1 SS Panzer Corps in Normandy.

Just cannot believe nobody has done this and have asked a number of times as it would be a tremendous addition to the Normandy series. Just could not imagine two allied generals doing the same thing to go back to the front.
