Have seen this on the History channel a few times now.If memory serves they rebuild a Sherman,Panther,Comet and Hellcat.Very interesting prog,these are seriously dedicated people who can spend years on these projects.

I haven't seen this Rob cos I can't get History Channel, I do get Discovery though and saw the 10 Best Tanks programme which I seem to remember was originally shown on the H Channel. Maybe Discovery will show the rebuild projects in future.

I believe I saw it on the history channel but I could be mistaken. I watched every new episode and then all of a sudden couldn't find it anymore. If you get a chance watch them (it was a great series). What they do is recover WWII tanks from battle sites and restore them. For example they pulled a panther out of some river in Poland did an in depth history into that specific tank, found out what knocked it out and then pretty much gave a play by play as they restored the tank. The hellcat episode was a good one because they restored it and let the WWII hellcat vets drive it around an airfield. It was great to see those vets faces light up like little kids when they were driving that beast.

I don't know last time I saw it was around Sept. 07. If they took it off I wish they would put it back on. It looked like they had alot of projects lined up for future episodes that I would have loved to see.
