after a break of some holidays on Napoleon's native island :smile2:, I found my toy soldiers .... and my passion.
Already in September started well: my photos of the month.:(

Forgive me if I post two of them but I really like how the Stug color fit in the background...

On first viewing this, it occurred to me that the Russians are way too clean. Then I rembered all that concocted footage that Stalin had produced as propaganda. In b&w, Sammy's scene would just like one of those movie clips. Nice!:D

Wow that Stug looks super, can see it coming up against that Russian gun. Some wonderful layouts here. Robin.

It's been a while. I haven't had time over the summer to set up scenes. This is one I took a while ago and never posted.

Frank

Yes, extremely well done. Thanks for posting Frank.

Described as barbarians but no different to any period in history. Trying to gain land and wealth by dominating others, a common trait in human history. Love the diorama though. Well done Regards Greg.

VERY NICE.....Who makes the bombed out building??? ...and how do we go about getting similar Stalingrad Structures.

The building as well as additional tiles were made by Rod DeBrito in 2009 for First Legion for Chicago The building essentially was destroyed by US customs and could never be displayed. Ultimately, it ended up with Frank - which is definitely a good thing.

As Frank so far focuses on wide views, he has mostly taken advantage of the exterior of the building. Perhaps, one day, we get photos of the inside if the building which is fantastic, too. But then, Frank also has the H&A damaged factory building. All I can say is that these are great problems to have.

Frank's photography is truly outstanding. There might be some how take grittier pictures, but he really gets to showcase these models.
