I thought you might like to see some photos of my Imperial sets from this weekend's West Coaster Show at the Irvine (California) Marriott.
Hi Mike!
Great pics and thanks for the info. I wonder how many of us have our toy soldier collections accurately assessed (and listed on our insurance policies). Cheers,
D
Lovely sets Mike, I bet the new owners love 'em
Can I ask, did you see any Trophy at the Show?
Cheers

Looks like I will have to get the Kerosene budgie up to the west coast next year. While its great to live on Imperial's back door step, sets that are out of production are hard to find in this neck of the woods.

Mike, nice figures. In the second photo there is a set of green tunic Highlanders, are these the Australian Scottish?

Hi Martyn,
Thank you, I hope they do, too.
Unfortunately, although I looked, I didn't see any Trophy sets at all. Of course, Steven Chong was an early arrival at the show and made a sweep of the rooms looking for them, too. My only hope seems to be if I can find some collector who is selling his collection which has some Trophy sets in it.
A slight correction to Drum's response: The set you were inquiring about is actually No. 4, Dunedin Highlanders; set No. 5 is the Maori Contingent which is the one with the figures in khaki shorts and pith helmets.
