For sale are two rare sets from Imperial Productions in New Zealand. Imperial produced a very limited number of four special paint Indian Cavalry Regiments which were based on their regular catalog Sets No. 50 and 51 THE 13th BENGAL LANCERS. I have all four 3-man sets plus the accompanying 1-man officer sets. The first is Set No. 50A 6TH BENGAL CAVALRY, 1882 with its separately boxed officer Set No. 51A. These sets are MIB and are still tied into their boxes as when produced. I am asking $225 for both sets plus shipping. I do not want to sell them separately. If interested, please contact me at matara42@roadrunner.com. Thanks.

The inner box lid unit history is as follows: "At the Battle of tel-el-Kebir, 1882, the 2nd, 6th, and 13th Bengal Lancers were positioned with the British cavalry on the right of the line of advance of the Egyptian entrenchments. Once the British infantry attack had severely weakened Egyptian resistance, the cavalry, under artillery fire, galloped through the defenses to pursue the fleeing enemy, with orders for the 6th to advance a further 12 mikes to take the town of Zagazig. A correspondent covering the seizure of Zagazig describes it as 'the most brilliant and spirited incident'."
