Imperial Productions of New Zealand is viewed by many as one of the premier producers of 54mm glossy toy soldiers. Imperial produced two special 40 figure Heirloom sets: HS1 Cameron Highlanders Marching and HS2 Cameron Highlanders in Action. They stopped producing the Heirloom sets in 2005 after having made 405 HS1 sets and 268 HS2 sets. They also produced just ten sets each of HS1 and HS2 painted as Gordon Highlanders. These special Heirloom Gordon Highlander versions never appeared in any Imperial brochure or listing of sets. In fact, they never changed the original Cameron Highlander labels to reflect that these sets were Gordon Highlanders.
I have for sale one of the ten Imperial Gordon Highlander HS1 Heirloom sets for $1250 plus shipping. These sets almost never are offered for sale on eBay or at auction. I am the second owner of this set, but I have never removed the figures from the box and it doesn't appear to me that the original owner ever displayed it, either. The set is in its original Imperial shipping box. If you are interested, please contact me at matara42@roadrunner.com. Thanks.
