Hi, KV,
You mentioned on your Ebay description that there is a lot of excitement in Zulu's in the world of toy soldiers - or something like that. I have some Britain Zulu sets and a tiny, tiny handpainted set (don't know the scale) of Zulus and Brit soldiers that I ordered off of Ebay years ago. Why all the excitement? I might try to sell mine and just concentrate on Durbars.

THANKS!

Believe me, it would be a CHUNK of cash and trade because yours are worth lots more than mine. I only have the Rorke's Drift Zulus Firing #00146 and the 24th Foot, South Whales Borderers #00145 from Britain (along with a sandbag piece that I place in front of the firing Brits that I think I got in New Orleans?). I place some odd unidentified running soldiers with that one. The hand-painted miniature Zulus are the ones that I find so interesting (about 1/4 of an inch high?). There are about 8 sets of five British soldiers connected at the feet, a few on horseback with flags and a band. As for the Zulus, some are connected in blocks of about 25 and there are about 30 singles marching. There are also about 25 on horseback. And those are just the painted ones. The set included a number of unpainted pieces to match, along with some little paper buildings. I'll have to take pics this weekend and post them for you. I really admire the steady hand that had the talent to paint these little guys. I don't think I could do it.
