I just saw a figure on ebay and then seller states, "In perfect condition but I recommend only an established collector bid who will be able to repair damage from shipping". Uhhhh, no thanks.

I have an idea. if it's in perfect condition - pack it well to avoid said damage!

I agree totally with you with about this "disclaimer" and I find it in bad taste. If that ain't a heads up that "i don't give a shizzzznit about you, the piece, how I pack it, but PAY ME NOW and its all on you collector boy"...than I don't know what is. I myself have thought long and hard about disclaimers for the OPPOSITE reason, as in..."this is the condition of the piece" and so forth, so that a potential buyer (collector or not) knows EXACTLY what they are receiving and paying for. In fact, I ask you to check some of my listings and give me some feedback. So, the idea that "your wife is pretty, but..." uh, there is no buts in that statement.

Anyway Zach segwaying into another thought about these little guys we collect. I only collect K&C and after receiving some really rare pieces from the 1980's I have changed my attitude from "collecting" the pieces to "preserving" the pieces. In other words, buying some of these older pieces not only because they are rare, but to take them off the market (whether I like the line or not) for preservation sakes. I don't know...it is just another thought and a jab to "it's in perfect condition, but...." man please!
