Ah, its all that Star Wars stuff Tony,do you collect the Original (1977?)stuff.Must cost a bomb?

Rob

Rob

Lucky on this one i was a kid and saved all the backing cards. Any special event i made people buy me Star Wars. I still have an origional tape that i recorded all the sounds off of the film for when i played with my figures.

I have nearly all the origional ships and box's from a kid and i was lucky a s a toy shop in my local village when i lived down south went bust and all figures were a quid and all vehicles were half price and my birthday was a week after the close down sale!!!

I now collect the real sound light sabers!

And yes my son is called Luke! On my last passport renewal i put down Jedi as religion! guess what passport came through OK!!

Oh boy oh boy dont get me on Star Wars
Tony

Hey sounds like you've some collection there mate. You must have a very understanding wife to call your son Luke.It took me ages to convince my wife to let me call our Cat Monty!!.So i'm guessing you've got all the films on special Ed Dvds then?.

Rob

yep all the DVDs but she wont let me buy a storm trooper outfit for £3000

Also wanted to start to collect the helmets from the states but they are £1000 - £2000 each and there are about 20 of them!!

Tony

Actually when you think about it three grand is not bad for one of those!

Rob

Rob

I ll get her to call you!! it is full blown Film style with the helmet having the voice changer in the whole 9yards!!!!! wowowowooooo i told you not to get me onto this

Tony,

Those Vader's Fist stormtroopers and Vader himself that are sometimes at the NEC shows are amazing. They are so realistic and sound exactly like the movie versions. You can see why the outfits are so expensive but imagine how much Vader's outfit is!

I've got a collection of Star Wars figures too. Mainly from the new range when they were restarted back in the early 90's. Those musclebound versions of Luke, Han, Ben and Darth. Not to mention Leia!

I have quite a few of the old ones though from around ESB and ROTJ times.

Did you collect all the new trilogy figures too?

James

Imagine wife if i walked in bed room with that or my son as i walked in and said 'Luke i am your father'! mind i say that enough!
