Yo Wayne, nice one cobber, the UK/ Irish just love the banter, its a sad day for this world when you cannot have a laugh at yourself. Think Napoleon1er and Rob have taken this totally out of context. A Joke is a Joke^&grin. An insult is a different matter, problem is there are to many serious people on this planet hence all the trouble. Its the old saying Laugh and the whole world laughs with you. What nation has been the Butt of more jokes against them than the Irish, but we dont cry about it as Wayne says bring it on^&grin.

No I'm afraid you're wrong there,I've taken nothing out of context because I've not complained about any joke at my country's expense. A Joke is fine, but if you read the threads in question, that is totally different from insulting and ignorant remarks about a nations War dead and their performance in conflict.

And when does a joke become an insult?? That's the problem....What I may find humerous...others may not...and visa versa....Some things that I have posted have been taken out of context.....Or been very insulting to others....What I consider good banter or historical discussion has been offensive to some......Heck on this forum we cannot even crticize each others toys without a big "bru-ha ha" ensuing...Let alone national and political differences. It all stinks in my opinion...best to avoid it.
