I certainly know what you mean about brand loyalty it's very hard to get a collector to buy from a new TS company. As for breaking even on a range I will let you know when it happens....

It's funny you should mention ammunition cassions and limbers, we started to sculpt French napoleonic cassions, cannons and limbers being pulled by the horse teams. The plan was to have them all sold separately so you could build up the horse teams as you liked or just have them on their own. Sadly the French Dragoons didn't sell all that well so I have abandoned the idea, maybe come back to it in the future. The sculpts are still sitting there half done.
Hope you all have a good weekend.

Napoleonic Guns (British & French) don't seem to be a problem to purchase, Limbers too are to be had, such as the British ones produced by JJD or French ones if you don't mind mixing manufacturers or doing a spot of painting, though with French Artillery there's the tough decision as to which green to go with as each manufacturer has their own idea, even though the correct mix formula is on historical record.
But finding extra Gun crew figures is hard and ammunition cassions all but impossible.
Selling the pieces separately would get my vote, though I'd guess there would be more buyers just for the cassions then with teams of horses.

"Napoleonic" era artillery limbers and ammunition wagons should sell if the price is "reasonable". Many makers have done artillery sets (K&C, The Collector's Showcase, WBritains,
First Legion and JJD) but adding a standing limber with horses would complete the artillery set and diorama. Same goes for the ACW although there are rumors that WB will come out with these in the near future. I think that any Napoleonic collector would want to add a team or two to their collections and I know that I would buy at least two.

I think Inkerman, and the Crimean war generally, would be an area of special interest and you would do better, saleswise,if you continued with the French artillery teams, limbers and cassions, especially if they were marching or riding(in transit to the battle).Pity about the dragoons,I think they are rather good(I have them) and I really like your 43rd Foot(I have then too-as good as FL in my opinion).Hope to see these French Artillery some time in the future.

Hi guys I have not totally abandoned the idea. I think I was a bit down when i made that post. I would love to have a go at it but cash flow is the main problem and it is a costly project. Hopefully if I have a good run up to Christmas then I can get the sculptor back on it.

Thanks for showing an interest and thanks to you farmer Tony for buy my soldiers no doubt we share a common interest in the peninsular war.

Best regards Iwan
