Prudence "Tuppence" Beresford (right) a new member the British Voluntary Aid Detachment recently arrived on the Western Front gets some tips from Catherine Barkley (left) a seasoned member of the V.A. D. Both are serving as ambulance drivers and their 1918 Ford Model T Ambulance is seen behind them.

For more on the V.A.D. see this link

John's superb WWI ambulance arrived today and I couldn't wait to get it before my camera. It is a real beauty with incredible detail throughout. There are even individual valve stems on each tire and a hand crank to start the engine. This has to be the best WWI ambulance on the market. While waiting for John to release his own medical figures, I thought I would try it out with 2 of my W. Britain WWI nurses.

Very nice photo and setup of John's handiwork. Actually the W.B. figures go pretty well for this perspective. I have been pondering getting the ambulance, now this might just do the trick.

Randy...it is a beautiful ambulance...and you did a fantastic job displaying and photographing it...it looks great with your Wm. Britain nurses...

very nice picture, very nice Ambulance, very nice Prudence, really everything nice!!
Bravo Randy!

Thank you all.

John is planning on doing an American version with American crew. I would guess whenever he begins to issue American aircraft. Something definitly to look forward to.

Great photography and very colourful :) Setup looks really nice - thanks for sharing!

Randy your description and photo certainly make this a very tempting piece, well done John, Cheers, Robin.

Very nice Randy. The size of those figure matches up nicely with the ambulance. I think the ambulance is a bit small for John's figure.

Thanks Catul, Robin and Doug.

How does the ambulance scale compare with one of John's airplanes or pilot figures?

I did try it with one of my 1/30th Beau Geste figures
