Without the luxury of actually being at the West Coaster today I would still like to refine my prediction of the additions to the King & Country Market-Garden Series. Understanding is that they will allegedly be on display today at the show, and will be released for sale in April 2010. Best intelligence projection based on a series of parameters, including existing major components, as well as marketing and production considerations, would have to be (95% confidence level):
Paratroopers descending (same as US Paratroopers in D-Day sets DD119, 122 and 123) Very logical, same chutes, just hook on British Paratroopers
Paratrooper just landed, pulling in his chute
Opening a CLE Container or Wicker Pannier
3in MK II Mortar with crew (Classic photograph with 3 man crew) I know already done as Arnhem ’44 Series (AN 008), but using the correct scale mortar from the 8th Army SAS set EA022
75mm M1A1 Pack Howitzer with crew (Again already done in Arnhem ’44 Series AN 004), but using the correct scale pack howitzer from the Battle of the Bulge set BBA09
LCOL John Frost, CO, 2 Para Bn (Again already done as Arnhem ’44 Series (AN014)
Will be curious to see how accurate these predictions are.
