New to the forum here, but maybe all you other FOV fans out there might have some input. I've taken up Customizing FOV, 21st Century Toys, & Ultimate Soldier vehicles. I've been selling some of them on Ebay to help supplement my income (with the economy like this every dollar counts) & i've noticed that the demand/interest for this kind of stuff is so-so. Is there a better place to try & sell these that anyone knows about? Also, is this a good place to just get general input on the work I'm doing? It's always nice to get a critical perspective or ideas from the outside. I'll try to post some pics of prior work that i've done for comment. Also, what's the best way to post pics on here. My file sizes are too big. Thanks to all for any input.

Some guys here are collectors and so they don't want "modified" vehicles, some of us (myself included) also enjoy customizing and do some for friends. I'm not sure about the market. I would be tempted to comete but it's getting harder to get the base vehicles for an affordable price.

Oh, I forgot - if you have a recent version of the Microsoft photo editor that is part of Office it can resize the photos for you. There is a "Compress Pictures" tool that reduces photos for web or e-mail. You can also "Resize" the photos to <97kb for posting here. Annoying but it keeps the bandwidth under control for the Forum.

Welcome to the forum by the way. I think you will enjoy it here.

Welcome to the forum scgatgbi. I think the problem with repainting FOV and 21 st century models is that the models are relatively cheap so most collectors would be reluctant to pay to much for any repaints.

However there are a number of members on the forum that make reasonable money from selling repainted King & Country tanks and vehicles as these models are more expensive and tend to attract more affluent collectors. The most popular K & C repaints on eBay seem to be Panzer Gray or Winter white.

As for image size, I understand you can increase the size from the default size in your User CP section.

Thanks everyone for the greetings, look forward to chatting with you all. Thanks for the re-sizing tips, they did the trick. I'm gonna post some pics of past custom jobs. As you'll see, most are total customizations, not just re-paints. I figure I mine as well really have some fun & see what comes out in the end. The pics attached (if it works) are of a Stuart I converted to a Prototype AA Stuart. It was ultimately turned down in favor of the M16 MGMC, but I thought i'd make a neat conversion.

Here's a FOV Elefant (action series, I didn't harm the enthusiests version, chuckle) I Repainted. I've always liked the Italian "mottled" paint scheme. I used some Archer Transfers to add the unit markings. Anyone know why FOV didn't include markings on the Elefants?

This is my most recent project. I converted a FOV M16 MGMC into the 81mm Mortar Carrier. Had to take a Tamiya kit and add it to the FOV halftrack. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

Nice conversions, how much are you asking for the Mortar Carrier and the Elephant?

Just sold the Mortar Carrier and Sold the Elefant last month. Currently working on a Chaffee.

Here are some pics of my 1st major overhaul. Sold it a while ago, but had a ton of fun with it. There's a few things i'd change, but hindsight being 20/20 isn't that always the way.

Pics didn't load, so let's try this again.

Ok, that's the last of them. Like I said earlier, there's a few things I'll change next time around. The main thing is trying to find a working hoist. I plan on having an engine suspended from it over the tank once Everything is said and done when I build another one.
