Is the Position of the Commander and Loader Wrong in the King and Country Picture ? (1 Viewer)

I think you are right and they are backwards.

The commander sat behind the gunner. There would be a single monocular scope forward for the gunner, and then the scissor scope behind for the commander. That is an Ausf. B and the reason the hatch is back farther is because the commander sits behind the gunner.

The range-finding binoculars weren't standard equipment on the vehicle until the ausf e. Even then, the device was detachable so as to be useable from other stations.

Very practical application of artillery technology.

On a side note, I always liked the this set because it comes with a dead figure.

Ok, back to the regularly scheduled discussion.

Also looking for the Africa Korp version - seldom pop up in eBAY for a long time - at the reasonable price {sm2}

I have the DAK StuG, but one thing I have to mention: the StuG Ausf. B wasn't use in the North Africa campaign, only a very small numbers of later variants of Stug were used.
K&C's StuG looks great but is not historical correct.

You are right - it's a C/D version used in North Africa :salute::

Case closed - the Commander is seated on the LEFT side of the StuG {sm4}

For some reason in the JagdPanther the commander position is moved to the RIGHT side of the vehicle
