Positively delicious - mind you I won't be collecting them on account of my not having a bulging bank balance - - don't excuse the pun! Still good though and I envy those who can afford the little darlings -

If certain members cannot moderate themselves and continue to make a lot of work for the moderators, I will make it easier on my mods (who volunteer their time here) by personally moderating said forum members' posts myself before they are publicly posted.
It would be a pity to have to restrict any forum member's account but I would also hate to burn out my moderators and then have to spend so much time myself ensuring that certain members "played by the rules" that the excellent customer service which Treefrog is known for might suffer. I'm not willing for that to happen.

Is it me?:eek::eek:

I'm sorry, I just can't control myself when Arnhem is involved:D:):p:p:eek::cool::D:D

Don't worry Scott,he didn't mean he's not an Arnhem fanatic,he's still in post football shock you know?:D

Rob

The result was no shock, I assure you. Its like I said to Louis, you support the Scotland International Fitba Team, and you just know you've bought a ticket for an emotional rollercoaster ride. But we love them really - even though they always fail at the first hurdle then end up beating the best - to no avail.
Cheers

No way its you Scott. Its me. So I need to tone down some of my "Barbed" responses to the posts that certain other members of OUR forum put up.:eek:
I think you brought a smile of pleasure into everyone's life when you described opening your new Arnhem figure packages with your Gran. :):)
I wish you many years of happy collecting.
GRANS RULE - OKAY.
Very Best Regards

No-one's saying that you can't post a point of view, just as no-one says you can't discuss fitba either. All we are saying.....is give peace a chance.
I'm just as guilty as anyone else of going off the deep end if I see a post that I virulently disagree with. What I would suggest though is that the posts that are clearly meant to stir up controversy be ignored (and I shall certainly make an effort to do so in future), and we all revert to discussing what this forum ought to be about, and that's toy soldiers.

I agree

Lets all make deal: "Peace is Our Profession" ...............so chill out Rob ;):p:cool:

Lets love one another .....or better still....... FREE LOVE, MAN !!! (sixties style)

Yes lets have peace again, theres enough god awful things going on in the world without having aggro on here too.Patton,i used to watch the Bill when Trudie was in it,but its gone a bit downhill since she left.:)

Rob

Downhill in Sun Hill huh? Not a watcher myself, but couldn't resist that one - :) All for peace too as it goes - I only play at being a soldier - the thought of having to do it for real fills me with dread - :)

I was watching several episodes involving WPC Keene being cleared of assaulting her abusive husband. She could have helped me with my battle of the 'bulge"- the actress is very pretty.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

BTW who watches "Neigbours" or "Home & Away" outside Australia..............

Cmon you know who you are, so own up !!!

Patton,

There is more chance of HRH Queen Elizabeth singing 'Whole Lotta Rosie' during her xmas day speech than there is to anyone over here admitting to enjoying those two televisual delights, although i did watch Neighbours as a youngish adult......D'oh!!!!:D

Was it the sullivans?...i really shouldn't know this.

Rob

BUSTED !!!!

Yes it was the Sullivans that had "Kitty".

To those ignorant of Australian icons (kisch) the "Sullivans" depicted the lives of an Australian family during WWII - both on the HomeFront and on the battlefield. It ran for quite a few years- dont ask me how long- I was doing homework.

Alright - who watches Kath and Kim !:eek::eek::eek:

Tell me and I'll own up to watching and enjoying almost every episode of "Birds of a Feather.":eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

LOL, a bit of a random question here, but has anyone ever saw the movie/documentary 'Theirs is the Glory':confused:

It's like the story of the British paras at Arnhem, made by the British paras a couple of months after the battle of Arnhem, and it stars british paras, and is a more true account of the battle:eek::cool::D:)

It's a great thing to watch, and it gave me the ideas of some some battle scenes:D:D:D

I have not got the dvd so thanks for the tip, I will look for it. I do have the hefty after the battle volumes - bought at the museum in Osterbeek. Expensive for a book, but very good and same as only one set of four soldiers?

Pictures of 'old' unmodified panzer 3s near the bridge.......hmmmmmmmm
