Yes, it is. Here's a link to the auction.

I think it's a little costly myself (though not terribly), considering the other choices we have available in planes. The Me 109s are considered the more "common" planes in the old style, not as difficult to get. This one has a stand, which is nice.

If anyone is thinking about buying, make sure it's well packed and opt for the costlier shipping. With these planes, the less time they're in the air, so to speak, the less likely the damage. That is why K & C ships their wooden planes overnight.

Nice looking 109. With the markings it would go nicely with the new polystone Marseille 109, if the scale is right.:smile2: -- Al

The scale on the old wooden planes was 1/32 whereas the ones on the polys are 1/30. However, I'm not sure it's that noticeable at that size.

Pleasure Mario.

Now, I wonder how many Me 109s Larry has :wink2:^&grin{eek3}

Because aircraft are much larger models than are tanks, I would think the difference between 1/32 and 1/30 aircraft would be very noticeable. Haven't there been some comparison photos on a previous thread?

Some of the old ones were 1/30 and some 1/32 - it depended on which factory they were produced.

These are the old wood ones - not counting the polystone ones:smile2:

I knew you'd come through in the clutch! ^&grin

Now, only if you could play for the Mets {eek3}

Your collection must rival Louis. He must be getting worried :tongue:

P.S. that's an amazing collection of planes, not to mention I spy Goering (I think from the Axis leader set).
