Yes, these plastic Mokarex and Café Storme figures are very underrated. A very good friend gave me all of his collection and I use them as painted or conversion pieces.

I did some more work. The shading was done with black and violet. The highlights on the trimmings were done with white and iridescent white. As can be seen, it is difficult to keep the white lines neat and I will have to paint over these areas later.

I finished painting this figure. The most difficult part was doing the ruffs, outlining the shadows and straightening the whites. I'll try to take better pics to close off this thread.

These bases were adapted from Chinese chess pieces made of wood. They come in a few sizes and are very cheap.
