Here is a SPECIAL for you Marine Corps collectors in commemoration of the 3rd installment of THE PACIFIC on HBO tonight . This is a signed and numbered limited edition art print depicting Marines making an amphibious landing in the Pacific during WWII. It was done in a limited edition of 750 prints. It is signed and numbered by the artist Michael Gnatek.
Mike passed away a couple of years ago. He was a good friend and an unsurpassed portrait artist. He served in the Marines in the early to mid 1950's as a combat artist. This print is in mint condition and measures 23" x 26".
The print was done in 1985 and was SOLD OUT many years ago and is now only available on the secondary market. The print sold originally for $ 125.00.
