Indeed easily identified .Yes it has. It's certainly a distinct style.

And a nice job you make of those dioramas Tom. I've often been frustrated (diorama makers are just frustrated movie directors ) by the difficulty in making a credible scene with all soldiers six foot; and when it comes to photographs where you try to represent something large in perspective, you have to go down the back yard to get far enough away to get a compromise shot with a telephoto lens. It is a price we pay to accept the unlifelike - one size fits all? This is not an accurate representation of real life at all. If it's not 1/30 unless it's 60mm, how do we make a call on accuracy in children and women Figurines? Etc. etc.The JJD Jagdpanther is also compatible in my opinion with the Britains, Kronprinz and FL 60mm figures. I also found that the HB figures (my HB Panthers tank crews) are also compatible with my JJD Jag as well as my Figarti armour, FL Tiger and most of my TG armour.

Having just comefrom the operating theatre, where I sweated on accuracy and statistics coming out in my favour, I noted that the surgical team ranged in height from around 5 feet to 6 foot three - let's say 1500 to 1900 for simplicity's sake. They would need to be represented by 50 to 63mm Figurines to have accuracy.Wayne; First Legion and W. Britains WWII figures measure from 58 to 62mm from top of base to top of head. K&C, TCS and TG WWII figures measure from 65 to 68mm. 1/30 scale is a 60mm tall figure. FL, WB and Kronprinze WWII figures are the correct size IMO. TCS, K&C and TG WWII figures are oversize and about 1/28 scale. The 60mm figures as measured are the most size compatible with Figarti, TG and Honor Bound Armor, which comprises most of my collection.
The popularity of FL WWII figures and Armor is based on their size compatibility and the realism that results plus their high quality.

Katana, One thing that is amazing is First Legion claims their WWII range is 1/30 scale. K&C , TG, CS also claim 1/30 scale but the First Legion figures seem
tiny compared to the other 3 brands. My own preference is the size offered by the other 3 brands. Seems to be 3 to 1 here on depiction in size ?

Scale is just a simple math ratio.
K&C, TG, TCS figures are only 1/30 scale if they are meant to represent a human between 6'7" and 7'2" tall and weighing 275-350 pounds.
Using a 1/28 ratio brings these figures into the realm of anatomical reality for humans. Coincidentally all the new K&C vehicles scale out between 1-28 and 1/29 in size. So the figures seem to now be consistent with the vehicles.

Thanks Bob about my dio's and as far as 60mm figures go per 1/30 scale, yes it is a little confusing with women and kiddies. All i'll say is that I believe (in my humble opinion) that HB, WB, Kronprinz and FL figures go very well scale wise with Figarti, JJD, TG and even ED (Eagle Design) armoured and soft skinned vehicles.

Hi Guys,
Just to add my own 'tuppence worth'... and also in my own humble opinion...
King & Country fighting vehicles go very well with King & Country figures...Which is always what I intended in the first place.
Best wishes and enjoy whatever you collect for whatever reasons...in whatever scale you personally prefer, Andy.
The same comment applies to TCS Armor and figures Andy; althogh I think they are a better match than K&C Armor and figures. K&C Armor is usually about 1/30 scale by actual measurement. K&C WWII Figures in my collection seem to be 1/28 scale or 65 to 68 mm tall by actual measurement. The TSC Armor and Figures are both 1/28 scale. I find K&C, TCS and TG figures are all size compatible and fit best with the TCS 1/28 scale Armor IMO.
The sad thing is all Toy Soldier manufacturers advertise their products as 1/30 scale or 60 mm and only WB, FL and Kronprinze meet that standard. Figarti, K&C FL JJD and TG all make 1/30 scale Armor except for some odd pieces or older pieces that were made in 1/32 scale.
“Why did I buy them?....simply because I liked them”
Exactly my collecting philosophy!!!!
