Maybe Any came out with an Italian piece of artillery, not solely to try and please John, but also because he thought it would give Italian collectors a wee bit of an edge on collecting?:)

Because it acknowledges that Italy did have forces in the war, and King and Country has not forgotten that?:)

Also maybe originally Andy had planned all along to bring out only Italian figures on Parade, but then he thought about John Gamble and decided to try and produce something for his likes, but then he also thought about normal Arfika Corps colelctors, as they would probably like something German too, and that's when he thought up the 'Special' Afrika Corps soldier with Guard Box?:)

Also, I think that with the Bren Gun Being on the Italian armour, maybe Andy had planned this for a future SAS release, thus the British Mounted Machine gun?:D

Maybe that's what happened all along, maybe Andy had planned an Italian Gun with British soldiers in Disguise inside it?::D

But then he realised John, and other collector's wishes, and turned this release into a German Afrika Corps release?:)

I put this up Just to try and tackle some pressure away from Andy, as he is no doubt swamped with what to bring out each month, and what to retire, and he could probably do without all the negative views?:)

I really doubt he agonised over it like that. He probably just thought it was time for some Italians and came out with one of Italy's best AFVs at a modest price to make some sales and get the range going.:rolleyes::cool::D

We should realize that a manufacturer likely looks at this forum as a free and efficient survey of a good cross section of their customer base that gives them instant feedback ( a marketers dream! ). We're actually doing them a service with our ideas and criticisms about all aspects of the hobby.
I would suggest that most valued is group consensus about products/trends, not just individual opinions. For example K&C isn't likely going to make Product A just because a few vocal people with deep pockets are clamouring for it. Now ofcourse if we all got on board and get behind Product A then thats different because that might indicate that piece my sell a lot of units.
