Mid-October and we have a freeze warning tonight. It's going to be a long winter.

As long as we don't have that snow that knocked out the power in October of last year for five days, I'm ok with cold.

After what May, June, and July did to my utility bill, I could use a little cool weather as long as I don't have to use the heat till December or so. -- Al

Nearly 80 yesterday but now "Frankenstorm" is on the way for Halloween. Rain, snow, high winds on the east coast. Should be a fun night for the kiddies. Time to repeat those power outages from last October when I vowed to buy a generator and then never gave it a second thought once the power came back on.

Thanks for the reminder to tune up mine! :wink2: Not too windy yet in the Pacific Northwest but already catching up on the wet side after an historic dry spell!

I don't know about cold but Halloween looks like it is going to be a might damp here in the mid-Atlantic, what with the hurricane headed our way. Could be a lot of wet zombies staggering around. Latest storm track looks to be right over Md. and Delaware. -- Al
