With the sad news a short while ago - that Tradition of London will be closing it's doors as a bricks and mortar store - I thought that I would spread a teeny-weeny bit of good news today. That's 'cos I visited the new home of Dorset Soldiers earlier today - to take delivery of some new recruits ( in need of a little paint! - to be continued over the winter months.....^&grin).
I also took my camera - to show you what I found......................
The shop window. (Nipped smartly back onto the pavement - after nearly being run-over!).
Closer view............
The owner's (Giles Brown) work desk - cleverly fronted up with some of his products (what a good idea!)
Here's another one fronting another desk.
And some of his stock.....
Now.....where have I seen that before?????
That's all folks - Do have a Merry Xmas - and if you're down his way (Portland in Dorset) - do drop into this magical place and have a look at his Toy Soldiers. You can even get some fish'n'chips around the corner - or - if you're brave enough - an ice-cream cone! It's that close to the sea-front! johnnybach
