Yesterday on the WB facebook page, another new matte range was introduced called Jack Tars & Leathernecks . . . . All that was announced is that its a new matte range and further information is coming. An interesting logo was provided (see below). This, for me, conjurs up all sorts of images involving the early years of the United States naval forces when ships were made of wood and the men that served on them were made of iron . . . . I must say this "teaser" certainly perked up my curiosity ^&grin

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news, is anyone looking to buy some organs? Mine will soon be for sale, pending the release of any age of sail figures (or SHIPS) by Britains.....

I am imagining late 18th century and early 19th century ship's crew and Marine compliment figures of the young United States fledgling naval forces . . . . War of 1812, Barbary Pirates . . . . hoping I am not wrong. "Clear the deck and prepare for action!"

I sent an email to their website a few months back expressing my appreciation for their USMC/Museum Collection figures and hoped they would expand. What I really asked for was WWII to modern figures in Class A or non-combat utilities. DI's, boots etc etc. They told me I would not be disappointed. We'll see.
