Anybody looking for this set?

Well, for $624 -- no, you do not need to adjust the channel (as they used to say in the Outer Limits) -- you could have had this set.

That was a nice set
I don't have it but 624 USD is bit too much for my budget
Good to know Trophy is still in demand.

Someone obviously had a big hole in their complete Trophy Collection. Way too much money for that set even though I agree its a nice set.

Anyone have a picture to show???? jb

Here it is jb

The auction for Jack was quickly followed by the one for Sherlock and Dr. Watson which finished at £410 ($622.30)

Both sets sold by the same seller but bought by different bidders

Cheers

I have been looking for this set for several years but this price was a bit too high. Might anyone have this set that they would consider selling? My wife and I took the walking Jack the Ripper tour when we were in London several years ago. My wife passed away from cancer in May 2014. The walking tour was very educational as we found out exactly where the incidents took place and heard the entire history. I am trying to keep many memories with my wife alive. Having these figures would remind me of a great trip we had to London. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any other supplier of the "Jack" figures - but if you are also interested in Sherlock Holmes figures - then have a look at Sarum Soldiers (UK manufacturer/supplier) - here's a link below. Patrick (the owner), does four sets of Holmes figures - and does both painted and unpainted versions. He is a very friendly guy too - and MIGHT be interested in making up a "Jack the Ripper set - if asked - as he does many figures similar to the Woman shown in the mini-dio that Martyn kindly showed.

Hope this helps....... best of luck.........jb

Are these rare sets or did someone really want one?

I don't think they are that rare but I think one guy wanted the set badly. I have seen the Sherlock Holmes set by Trophy a few times. I did have a Sarun Sherlock Holmes set but the figures were slightly smaller than 54mm so I sold it off.

You don't see the Holmes that often so it's not rare but a little hard to find. Jack the Ripper is rare, at least as far as eBay is concerned. I can recall seeing it only once or twice and it wasn't cheap then either.

Brad is right about the Ripper set I havent seen one for a long time but the Holmes sets from Trophy and other come up pretty regularly so keep looking and maybe you will find one for a lot less than 600 bucks.

I was sorry to hear about your wife. I do hope that you manage to obtain the set that you are looking for.

Forgive me mentioning this as it is of little consolation or indeed help now that your dear wife has passed on. There is what some believe to be a CURE for Cancer
found in the 1930's for treating cancer that was suppressed by the authorities. AND STILL IS.

It is called ESSIAC

Rene Caisse a nurse set up a clinic in Canada & Treated many terminal patient's who were given weeks to live and yet following treatment they lived into their 70/80s.

Rene worked with Dr Banting the discoverer of Insulin and also Dr.Charles Brushe who stated "Essiac cures period" He was The personal physician to JFK.

If you can get hold of a copy read Calling of an Angel by Dr. Gary Glum. He saved the life of an agent but then had his life threatened and his family after writing about Essiac. The agent did reveal to him however that the AIDS virus was man made and that there was a cure for it. !!

Rene Caisse was offered Millions of $$$$$$ (CAN) to reveal the formula in the 70's but never did reveal it until later on in life. She knew full well what they would do with it if she disclosed it and that would be to put it on a shelf and forget about it.

Essiac went through Canadian parliament to be used as a recognised treatment for cancer ... Guess what it missed by 3 votes. !!!
,
They call Essiac a tea to discredit it. IT IS ACTUALLY 4 HERBS... SHEEP SORREL, TURKEY RHUBARB, BURDOCK, & SLIPPERY ELM

It has some 30 + Health Benefits.

Sorry for going on but everyone should know about this in my opinion.

I must add however that if you have cancer then you should seek the advice of your Dr/Physician.

Kind Regards

Zulu Dawn
