Jacobite Rebellion (1 Viewer)

Good idea. Although John seems busy enough, he does make great Native Americans and might consider such a piece.
Still, don't hold ye breathe - it took at least 5 years for Bonnie Prince Charlie himself to roll in. Culloden has come slowly for years but you never know.
Best Wishes
Pats
Maybe he can consider one Georgia Ranger and one Cumberland Hussar as an entourage for the Duke of Cumberland? Charlie received 3 Life Guards and one Bagot's Hussar for his. It would equalize the balance a bit in my humble opinion.

John still hasn't produced or shown sketches for the Irish Picquets on the Jacobite side, or Clan Cambell, loyal to the Crown. Both groups very prominent at Culloden.
That would be very great! Culloden has a lot to offer when you come to think about it.

I am very interested in this specific battle. Visited it 3 times so far.

There are several JJD Jacobite fans on this forum. Jason Foote & Grey Heron to mention off the top of my head.

Thank you. In 2013 once joined this community and years spent doing other things. Now joined again to stay here. All the best and enjoy the hobby.

Hopefully we get them all
Yes I do hope so. What a splendid table scene this could be. All the best Jason!

Ps. More Lowlanders on the Jacobite side and also more Jacobite Highlanders with only muskets will represent a more acurate scenery of the reality. March/April 1746 the Jacobites were armed almost in the same traditional way as Continental armies operated at the time. Drilling practice was done in a daily routine by most elements of the Jacobite army. So hopefully we get them in the near future!
