Yo Troopers, this is how the Hamleys Hussars turned out, and I don't think it downgrades them that much. The problem was they are a bad design, the horses are really heavy solid cast without the riders, and they only had two legs pinned to the plate (told you plates are for fish & chips not horses lol) anyway it was a real balancing act, they would start to lean and fall over:eek:, so eventually the pins broke. So a good friend made some grass strands for me, and Jeff (Surgeon General) fixed them back added the grass to attach the front leg to and repainted the grass and plates. So now like any self respecting Hussars they don't fall over now;).
Bernard.

They look great Bernard. :)

This is one of my favorite sets of the "New" Britains. I really like the fact that each figure is unique and the colours and details are correct for the units they represent.

Matter of fact, I liked it so much that I bought two sets. May consider selling one to fund some other soldier purchases.

Yo Chuck, might well be worth selling a set you dont see them much, only seen two sets for sale in last 14 months I bought one and Tom bought the other, both sets had problems. But I was lucky the Surgeon General (Jeff) put them back in tip top condition for me. How are your sets any problems with them.
Bernard.
