Yo Troopers, just got these back from Jeff, its our old friend the Stadden East Kent Ensign. Remember I bought the model on the left without the hand, because it was a Chas withdrawn model, only having one Cross belt. The new model on right is the corrected version with two Cross belts. Anyway I sent it to a very good friend;) who made a sword & hand for him as the photo. Then it went to Jeff who matched the paint (Superbly). A couple of months later the seller I bought the model off emailed to say she had found the original hand:eek: So took the new sword & hand made for the model off, and sent it back to Jeff to put the original hand back on and again as you can see a superb paint match Job again:D. So Jeff left me the easy bit of doing the lettering on the title:( lol. Watch this space in 3 months lmao DOH. The same mate who made the hand & sword also made the two Irish models for me, which Jeff kindly painted.
The guy on the left is a Lieutenant Artillery Volunteer force 1933-40.
The guy on right very German looking is Volunteer Infantry Force 1934-1940
Many thanks guys for your great work:D.
Bernard.

Bernard, I agree Jeff did a very nice job repairing you figure.

I recently finish repairing one of those St. Petersburg knight figures. The actual repair wasn't that bad but the touch up repainting was a challenge to say the least.

IIRC the Irish bought those uniforms from the German Goverment because they wanted nothing to do with the British Goverment.

Very nice looking Bernard; Jeff is a real craftsman.
