John said I would like this month...

but he also said my request list is as long as his leg...

so............................

my only guess...

is a piper for the Highlanders...

oooooh yea....

and maybe some Dragoons for Cumberland...

oooooh yea...

and maybe an artillery set for 1812...

oooooh yea...

and a set of Indians for Snow Shoes...

oooooh yea...

and maybe some dead figures for any series...

oooooh yea...

and the lookout tower and entrance for St. Francis.....

oooooh yea...

and civilian Indians for St. Francis....

oooooh yea...

Beaubien for St. Francis...

oooooh yea...

Durantaye...

oooooh yea...

the final combat set for Jacobites...

Covered a lot of bases on my guess's...hope I get one right.

Some more Snow Shoes would be nice. Michael, Im sure there will be lots of sets this month that you will be adding to your awesome JJD collection!

My wish list is Quebec heavy:

French flag bearers for POA.
78th flag bearer w/63rd
47th in red facings
French grenadiers
Colonel William Howe at Quebec

What I think we might get:

Durantaye
Jacobite hand to hand
BM
Gordon Highlanders - Sudan

Darrell...

glad to see you posting again...

hope everything is going okay and getting back as close to normal as possible...

I called and left a message on your recorder...sorry I missed you...

just wanted to say hi and check up on you...

might be about time for a Tricorn release...hehehehe...hope so for you...

I have been collecting Johns Jenkins miniatures only for a short time but I find that it has really become popular how about new range around the French and Indian Wars for new collectors to start .......Bushy's run... fort Ticonderoga all sounds god to me .......

It was good to talk to you today Michael. Thanks for calling.

Yeah, Monongahela is definitely my wish list. I am really hoping for more infantry for this range sometime this year not to mention all of the items I have listed in the past here on the forum. When it comes to JJD, BOM has got to be the best.

I guess we can expect the latest release information around the 10th or so.

Anyone going to the London Show this year? If so, take and post some pictures of any new JJD releases at the show for us on the forum.

Monongahela,Quebec,Ticondaroga,Ft.William Henry,St.Francis,Lake George,Snowshoes and for Combat, Bushy Run.Out of all these battles and some I did not name which is the one most popular or should I say most interesting to people, and not just collectors. My vote is for Monongahela. This seems the most popular followed by Ft.William Henry because of The Last of the Mohicans fame. What do you guys think.
Mark

Bushy Run, Bushy Run that's all you guys want to talk about. ;)

Ok, John is going to throw us a big, big curve --- Afghan/British late 19th Century!! The British lost a few of these battles including a massacre of the 44th. http://britishbattles.com/first-afghan-war/kabul-gandamak.htm

As for my wish list,

(1) My Biggie: Grenadier Officer and Sergeants/Corporals for the 47th, PoA --- we have neither.
(2) French Marine Officers and Sergeants -- we have neither.
(3) and of course, a Blacksmith Set.
(4) Sailors hauling 12 pounders, BoM.

Note: With the 28th at PoA, John quickly released all the needed elements to form a company ---- officers, sergeants, corporals, privates, flags, and drummers. I hope, he continues this trend on all future releases. A more sytematic approach.

Expected:

(1) British Officers and Flags for Culloden.
(2) 44TH Regulars for BoM

Possible

(1) BoM - Christopher Gist, with far outside chance of Gage.

A Quebec fan is always welcome. If John does the 78th colours should it reflect the 78th or 63rd? I would kind of like him to do it with the 63rd.

Nod, Nod to Quebec. Now Combat has me going to the book shelf to figure out who had the better looking flag, the 63rd or the 78th for PoA, just the standard link for this sort of information doesn't show the 63rd regimental colors, only the 78th which is on the boring side, buff colored.

Now that's a well thought out list...

not collecting POA...except for Fraser's...I even like and welcome 1-2-3...

I love 6-10...

Mark...did I send you the pic of Beaubien?

Ken...

off of John's site...

"There were approximately 80 civilian wagoneers, out of a recorded 300 non-combatants that accompanied the British column at Monongahela."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Monongahela

"Also, of the 50 or so women that accompanied the British column as maids and cooks, only 4 returned with the British—with around half being taken as captives."

John's St. Francis stockade civilian figures would work good on that shelf...
