A musical directed by Clint Eastwood. Quite entertaining. A bit before my time, but I went mostly because
of Clint Eastwood directing. Reviews are generally all over the scale. Back when lyrics could actually
be understood.

The story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons.

I saw the preview and thought maybe Clint is in late stage dementia. A very strange choice of topics for him.

You know us Jersey boys have got to support this movie.{bravo}}:salute::

I have seen the stage version twice, both times it came to St louis. The wife had knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago, I,m waiting another week or so so she mends up and off I go to see this movie.
My problem is after seeing the stage version all I listen to in my car for the next couple of weeks is my CD of Frankie Vali & The 4 Seasons Greatest hits.

I like him as a director...
pretty much everything he does is good...
and I think this is a good story...
I'm gonna catch this...

they had a ton of hits Gary...everytime I see the commercial I sing the songs for 2 hours...

Clint Eastwood has done a lot of different kinds of movies. I'm not sure why this movie would be considered unusual.

I think you're old enough Gary to remember them from the 60s. They were sort of a counterpoint to what was going on in music and although I used to get tired of their songs, you can't deny the quality or that the songs are memorable.

I missed the stage version. I was too late. Sold out. However, I think I'll go to the theater
again next week. Selection has been poor lately.

I went to the cinema last night thought the film started slowly and got better and finished well I will go to see the stage version later in the year when it comes to theatres in the north

Saw them several times in person and went to the show on Broadway.
My first girlfriend was named Ronni so their music always brings back memories.
The Four Seasons and the Beach Boys were grass roots American pop music.
Of course Motown was also home grown for us.
Then the British invasion took over but I liked them all!
Don't know how I will enjoy the movie after seeing the show but will give it a go. Need some diversion from the terrible news around the world.

Finally seen the movie tonight. Not bad, not great. Stage version way better. If you go to listen to the songs you may like I was a bit disappointed, however it does tell the story behind the scenes much better than the stage version.
