I am considering a few of the JG diorama accesories for my Battle of The Bulge K& C troops thru Treefrog. They look like nice accessories but I havent seen them up close. Has anybody used them? and have an opinion?

Hi:

I am working on my North African diorama right now and I am using K&C and JG Miniatures accesroies. I have the oasis, the desert rock formation, desert grass and a few palm trees. They are really great, very realistic and well made, and they go well with K&C in terms of scale. I have seen some displays of the Normandy landings using K&C and JG, and they are quite dramatic. I would highly recommend JG. Their products are pricey, but I believe they are worth the investment.

Great to hear that Gil,

When you're finished and you have a chance, please take some pictures and share them with the rest of us.

Thanks,

Carlos

The BBA and BBG bases that JG does are superb. he has blendid the colouoring in the base of the base to match those of the figures so makes for a great little scene. They all match up very well.

Well worth buying and Treefrog well worth getting them from

I've got some which I used in a Winter diorama Tony made me, and they're great:D:D:D:D:D

I have two of his road with pavement bases for facades, some rubble and the oil drums and jerry cans accessory pack and they all work really well with the K+C figures - very good indeed I would say - :)

I am a big fan of JG Miniatures. I have many of his full size buildings and accessories. I agree that the Battle of Bulge bases are extraordinarily good. When I purchase JGM stuff, I don’t worry about size compatibility or quality. The only issue I have is pricing, but if you want the best then you must be willing to pay the best. I personally think it’s a tie between JGM and BAR. I purchase many items from both and I encourage you to do the same. If you don’t like them, sell them on EBay or on this forum. They keep their value.

Thanks for all the input on the diorama accessories. I just placed my Treefrog order for the BBG-01 base and the drums and jeery cans pack.

I have all of the BBG and BBA JGM series and would highly recommend them.

With additional Field Boundary Bases ( 2 6x6 in box ) and Winter Track Sections ( 4 6x6 in box ) you can build as large as you want.

I also use the 38 series French Ruined House Sections with K-C FoB.

how does the jg snow base look and is their snow of good quality or should i go with Hudson and Allen snow

Richard

We use the snow from JG on our bases works very well with paint etc
