Our tour guide in Scotland said that Sr Shaun Connerywas the only man to play a Spanish nobleman, a Russian Submarine captain, James Bond and all in a Scottish accent. Opposite the Infirmary in Edinburgh is the Royal School fo Art where a young and impoverished Sr Shuan earned extra mony by posing as an artistst model wearing as he said " Nothing but a smile"

He is one of the greats

mmmmmm, not the best actor i've ever seen.I wouldn't call him great just cos he played bond.

I have . . . didn't you ever see Highlander II, the Quickening? By the way, I was at Lincoln Center when he was honored for his lifetime's contribution to Motion Pictures. He passed about 15 feet from me. My favorite Sean Connery performance was his protrayal of Danny Dravot in Rudyard Kipling's "The Man Who Would be King" opposite the ubiquitious (Sir?) Michael Caine.
