John Jenkins collectors you'll have to forgive me. The coverage here is not nearly as dense as I have provided for some other manufacturers, but in no way means JJ products did not have a significant presence at the show. It's just that as much as I'd like to, I can't collect everything, and thus, I only have a precious JJ pieces in my collection (the Jacobite running w/ two hand guns and two sets of civilians that I love because there are so few female figures in the hobby, and those "families fighting" sets are stellar to me). Anyways, I was not even sure what to focus on in terms of what JJ collectors would like to see an I couldn't pick out a current release from a preview if there were any, so I just snapped a few pics at things that caught my eye. The British Navy figures are EXCELLENT. I kept going back to Larry's room of March Through Times to look at them, but in the end I decided maybe next time. The JJ planes are VERY well done.....smaller than the K & C planes, but upon initial observation, better detailed. Now I'm not a "plane guy", but let me tell you something: when I saw these planes, I wanted then. I was blown away by the quality of his tanks too. It's hard to believe that these are his first tanks! They are that good . They look so real that you can easily imagine them just driving off the display shelf on their own. So here are a few pics. Sorry for the lack of breadth of coverage here. Nevertheless, the quality and personality of JJ's products is remarkable.
Here's a pic of the British Navy that I hope to have some day before they sell out:
A few new outstanding Jacobites:
