John Jenkins Designs Database (1 Viewer)

Thanks for all the feedback I've received on this database thus far, much appreciated. I've made a few tweaks and filled out some of the remaining missing items. The JJ Designs Collectors' Club information is now up. I put links between the standard and basic versions of the web pages, so there are options. The basic version is simply text style listings with little formatting, while the standard has the thumbnails and more visual stuff going on. Both I've tried to keep simple and effective. Both versions will be maintained, as it isn't that much work once in place.

The K&C link is in my signature below, and links currently to the basic version I've had up for awhile. I have a thumbnail version of this as well, but haven't finished it up just yet (probably within the week).

Enjoy!

Rich,
That's a very impressive piece of work you've done.......very useful.

Thank you!

Pete

Thanks for the K&C link, Rich.

Aagain, many thanks for your hard work. An immense benefit to the collector community!

Just catching up on the forum, been working too much lately. Really nice work you've done Rick. I saved it to my favorites and know I'll use it. I notitced that you have not listed every set that has been retired. Like BM-01. Was this done for only sets that never sold out their production runs?

Just curious.

Thanks.

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for the kind words. The retirement information is the last piece of the puzzle that I need to complete the database. I was able to get a few retirements based on the monthly postings of new product to the forum, but it is by no means complete. I've asked a couple vendors, but have to date not been able to get a list. Worse case if I can't get year/month information for retirements I'll likely just put in "Yes" for product that has been retired.

If anyone has any information on retirements, drop me a line. It is appreciated!

Take care,

-Rich

The more I look at this...the more I appreciate the easy access...the retired part is gonna be hard to maintain...it changes so frequently...

I have to agree with Michael on the ease of use for this database. I've designed a lot and used a lot in my various jobs and it's always the ease of use and intuitive databases that help get work done so well.

I'm not getting too much time to do much, but I will be looking at this database more.

Rich - please keep up the great work You might try Johns site to at least get the yes/no answer to the retired question. If I had the time I would dig into it deeper for you, but I barely have an hour to myself these days. And I got a lot of new toys for Christmas, that only today went on the shelf.

Take care

Matthew
