Excellent looking figures, please keep releasing without bases. Perhaps release some standing figures with no bases with either an ammo box, jerry can etc supporting the figure or having the figure with a separate base in the box. For example, release the A standing figure was a base and the B figure without a base but having one separate in the box if the collector wants to glue on later.

TG your poses are awesome those pander grenadiers look like something right out of a film still!

A+ Guys!😁😎

Really like this set and will be buying when it comes out, would like to see a 75mm version. Few changes and a new gun would do it.

Hope the rocket is detachable and there will be different versions, summer/winter.

The figures look 'late war' to me and 'urban', there are at least 3 figures that could be used in multiple dioramas and scenes.

Another great set.

I also like the way that T Gunn manage their releases, not been any Romans for a while, but that, for me, is OK as it allows people to catch up. Always a good and growing mix of eras, some not for me, but I still appreciate them and that we are all different and people collect different things, plus release for me are always good, as there is normally something there for me and if not I can let the credit card cool off for a month.

Does anyone have any of the new ss figures w/o the bases and are they a bit smaller then their other WWII figures?

I have the first 3 and they appear to be smaller than their older WW2 figures. I have another 3 on order and hopefully they will arrive at the end of next week.

I'll try and post some comparison pic's.

I have the new SS figures without the bases and you are correct they are significantly smaller than the older sets even allowing for crouching positions

They are a little bigger that FL figures but do look similar in size to War Park allowing for War park's winter clothing.

I would also say the reduced size or less bulk applies to their parade figures as well

They are slimmer than the last FJ releases as well

Hi Mark
Yes these guys are smaller but they are supposed to be Hitler Youth, we will be making some 'normal' size Germans later on in the series.

This makes sense, I thought the weapons (especially the MP40 sub-machine gun) looked a tad big for these blokes.

I really like the first 6 SS [without bases] and I have ordered the next 3. They are smaller, not sure on the Hitler Youth as the uniforms are not really Hitler Youth. Plus do not think the Hitler Youth were issued flamethrowers? For me more like 12SS, I will continue to buy this range, but they are smaller, they look great in my tank riders dio [K & C Panther] and another dio in ambush mode in Normandy. I have the British 6llb gun and figures and they are a similar size, we need more 'in action British infantry, but we are always short on WW2 European Brits no matter the manufacturer, have been told they are not big sellers and if true then I cannot blame the manufacturer's, certainly numbers tell a story, there are a lot less WW2 Brits available, especially when Paras and Commandos are taken out the equation.

I saw the new K & C Rangers yesterday, in the flesh shall we say, and they were small/thin as well. I stood them next to other K & C figures and they were a different size compared with the German artillery WSS figures. Maybe there is a trend and a movement towards figures which are more like W Britains [remember them] and F Legion, Warpark figures are more F Legion size as well.

It would be great if the trend sticks and they start to roll out smaller i.e.more towards a true 54mm set, and drops the 60mm plus sizes for with that the chances of interacting with sets from other brands such as WBritains and others as metioned in the thread will be welcome.....
With that the optical tricks to hide the scale differences will no longer be needed....:salute:::salute::
This is my personal wish.....but what will it be is up to the manufactureres...

When will the gun and garrison be available to order?
Just checked the website - shop and workshop and there is no indication that they are on the works?
Please advise.

Hi Mark,
I am looking forward that the gun garrison can be sold separately from the 37mm gun...If that is the case, we can man other guns/more powerful ones such as the pak 40mm with them. Per the pics provided they seem to fit the bill and can easily man a larger anti tank gun....a 37mm at the late war period even firing rockets was a pea shooter vis a vis the Russian and Allied armour being thrown against them....If they were dressed as Wehrmacht early war soldiers then it would be ideal for dios in Poland, France , low countries and even early stages of the Russian campaign. But as is and with a very close attention to the uniforms were are talking 1944 and later....mainly defense within Germany against Russians and Allied trusts.....
Cheers

I'm hoping they will blend with the FL SS since those figures appear to be a bit bigger then their Stalingrad figures. If not not biggie. I'll find a scene to fit them into.
