June Competition! (1 Viewer)

I really think Blake will have a winner with a Desert Tiger !

His work goes really well with the King and Country figures and vehicles - plus who knows when we will (or if) see a Tiger Tank from Andy for the AK Series. NMA make great additions to my collection and sure for others as well.

Keep up the great work Blake ! :D

Although there are a lot of suggestions put forward on this forum, there are some consistent themes and there are regular items that keep cropping up - British Paras - now being addressed, 88mm for all theatres (including Purple Oak Leaf Pattern), desert Tigers, LRDG and British armour (Lee / Grant, Cromwells, Comets, Crusaders) - mainly for N. Africa, but also for the latter stages of WWII.

I think that whichever company turns out the goods in these flavours, will be on to a winner.

Oh, did I mention FJs? Crete / Italy? Maybe....?

Ron.

I agree NMA make some nice models, I only have 3 of theirs in my collection and they go well together. I don't have a lot of display cabinet space allocated for vehicles, so I am looking forward to more of the smaller types.

I agree with Wraith
We collectors are fascinated with a scpecific number of fighting vehicles and men. We cannot get enough Tigers, 88's, Paras and the LRDG
Bring them on is all I say

Absolutely, the more the merrier.I am really pinning my hopes on NMA producing some British armour in the coming months.

Then the next thing you will be asking for are those British Paras - especially now since Andy's production has stopped on them due to that China Trade problem... I cant believe they stopped all the rpoduction in that plant - I mean I understand that he will have it all straighten out in the next 24 months but still - thats a long time for you British Para fans....

Yep i can hear sharpening, as the Devil prepares his pointy trident marked 'The Napoleonic one':D

Rob

No i think we are talking Tigers and British tanks John.

Rob

 Are we speaking of Lawrence of Arabia?

John,

If you're referring to Blake's first post on this thread, then I think it's a unanimous yes.
The thread has just side tracked a little from there. Surprisingly enough. :)
