I made a quick jungle scene and placed in a few figures. Enjoy. Nick

Very colorful Nick. If I was those GI's I'd be looking out for a Jap with a black belt in the dreaded marshal art of Ikebana :)

Where is this jungle? Is this Roger's Rangers in Burma, or perhaps the Philippines? Where ever it is, it looks awfully dangerous. Nice job!

Reminds me of Merrill's Marauders, Burma Campaign in WWII. How about adding marines wielding bolos (machete) hacking their way into the jungle.

Nick,

That is a really, really nice job. Hollywood could hardly build a better scene!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Quick jungle scene. That would have taken me a month. Nice job!

Thanks Louis, I appreciate your compliment like everyone elses. I let the veiwer use their imagination to where the setting is on most of my work. Philippines are a very good guess. I had an uncle who fought the japs over there.

Thanks noli-poli. I don't have any marines with machetes! I recently started collecting die cast metal this year......Give me a little time. LOL..
Nick:)

great job on the diorama,

Mind you where I come from the title jungle fever would raise a few

eyebrows:D .

Thanks Pat, and I put this together in a couple of days. The diorama was still drying when I took the photos. The large palm tree took the longest because that was scratch made. LOL.

Well Done
I added these to my forum picture collection.

Wow! Thanks Chuck. I still have the cave available if you want it. This 1'x1' diorama has a small Jap wood bunker in it. I will photo that need. The Marines were going to walk into an ambush. Oh boy.....:(

Nick,

Great work again Nick, gees I wish I could do that. Very nice job with creating this work from scratch.

Thanks Carlos for the compliment. Sorry, I bought the last bag of magic builder diorama dust.;) LOL You have the talent! Look at a jungle and start adding trees, shrubs, vines, etc. Pack it in and hopefully it will come out good. Keep in touch,
Nick
