I agree mate,Andy said there would be vehicles for the RAF range so maybe one or both of these will be in there.:)

And we will need one of these for protection!;

Oh yes.... 3.7 inch Anti Aircraft Gun would go really well in a European 1944/45 theatre or allied air base. A 40mm Bofors as well, wich could also go in North Africa as well.

Then again ANY artillery additions are most welcome on ANY battlefield :)

This one has been made before by K&C!

I have an old Feb 1996 brochure and in the Royal Airforce Collection, 'lo an behold' these is a RAF Bedford QL Fuel Bowser shown. The description states "1:32 scale hand-made wood and metal model of this essential RAF vehicle - very few left! US$205

Also show is the RAF Austin K2 Ambulance and show some sets of figures ... 2 x pilots, 4 mechanics and a disptch rider and ...... 4 aircraft!

2 x Spitfires Mk2 & Mk5, a Hurricane and a Bristol Bulldog.

Good stuff :)

John

Yes John,I'm hoping Andy will give us a polystone remake of these as they would lend a real air of realism to any airfield dio.I like the RAF Blue on the bedford and an ambulance in this colour would also be a great addition.Still,I'm happy with whatever we get in this range,in this 70th anniversary year and with K&C's quality the RAF series is right on the money for me:cool:.

When Brad posts the photos of my airfield I will be taking later today, you can get a nice look at every single RAF related vehicle K&C has made, including the wood Bedford QL fuel bowser, 2 of the wood Austin K2 Ambulances (one green, one blue) and a prototype Austin Tilly RAF utility vehicle.

If you go to my albums page and look at the Warbirds section, I have scans of the 1995 Warbirds brochure, including the front cover mentioned by John (Obee). Both the wooden ambulance and fuel bowser are very, very (and I mean very) hard to come by. The only people I know who have them are Louis, Lawrence and Hans.
