Hello. I drove four hours to the only store near me that had K&C for sale. After seeing them in person for the first time, I am amazed. They had a ton of sets. I picked up BBA-016. The Battle of the Bulge scout car. Got it for $99.00. Now I want more. What next?{sm4}

The previous piece is a Strictly Limited piece is a Sandbagged Sherman Tank, BBA-015. And its a great looking Tank. You have so many options D-Day Pieces Might be the Biggest Selection in the Allied Choices. And the Choices in all Fronts , is close to mind Boling. The most important thing is to have fun with every single piece. Hope to see you more here at the forum.

They had that piece at the store. I don't think it was in the section of stuff that was for sale though. I cant wait to make the diorama with this piece though.

I had a quick look at the web site, you might have found a treasure chest. I am seeing pieces that has been long retired and no longer available. The piece you bought might easily fetch $150.00 in eBay. The SL BBA-15 sold originally for $199.00. There is BBA-05 that originally sold for $105.00. So get whatever you can. And there is Sager's website that can be your gauge on how much the original prices are.

The store has so much more than the website. I seen some old pieces in there. Like they had shelves with entire sets of stuff.

Congrats! Most of us started out with one K&C piece and next thing you know we all needed K&C rehab because of our new found addiction.

Seriously, there are many directions you can go with K&C and they are all amazing. Let your curiosity lead you and you won't be disappointed.

And welcome to the Forum!

K&C in a way showed the world, that its okay for Grown Men to still play/ collect toy soldiers. I do not know if this hobby would be as great as it has been all this years, without K&C pushing the borders. some may argue that K&C may not be the greatest, My take in this is, They are at the very least Great Enough, And Pushing To sustain being the Greatest each Month.

There are a number of K&C dealers who will mail order you items that they have in stock, plus your store in Ohio looks like a nice selection.

There is SO MUCH available - stop and think about what you like and what piece(s) you really want to have in your collection. Do you want particular vehicles, do you want to stay with a theme (like all Battle of the Bulge) or what ever. Obviously money is a factor for all of us, so start a "want list" of what you really want. K&C collecting can be addictive, so watch out :) Have some fun and enjoy the hobby.

You're right it is addicting. I am already considering returning some products I bought about a week ago and get a refund. Then im gonna go buy the K&C Chaffee. NEEED MOREE.{sm4}

If the store you bought your item from is an official K&C dealer and you got a discount you might have given them the kiss of death if Andy finds out.
Better be mum about the discount part!

What discount? There isn't a single discount from MSRP in this entire thread. BBA-016 The Battle of the Bulge scout car was $99 original price and that is what the guy paid for it. It just seems cheap by prices on new releases.

Welcome to our collecting world ! Since you bought your very first K&C piece being WWII, continue to add to it and go from there. Enjoy ! :salute::

By the way.......keep the boxes for all of your sets. If and when you decide to sell something having the original box in new condition makes a big difference !

What discount? Lol it was $100. I think that is the retail price when it came out.

...... Okay, maybe a discount in a way, where the owner's of the place could have charged more for the pieces that they are selling. There is more than a few pieces that I have sold in the secondary market, that is more than what this store charges for the pieces.
